The weight of a union of nations
hangs heavy on my shoulders
As the politicians weigh up
the pros and cons of Brexit
When one weighs in with a pro argument
the others encounter with no.
I read, I emerge myself in discourse
And discord, who is right and who is wrong?
Who is lying; who is leading us up the garden path
or along a path that will ensure a peaceful existence
A lack of hardship
And the best for most?
Which way to turn?
Left or Right?
The UK is being shredded
Like a flag torn in the wind
Perhaps Brexit will come to
Mean Breaks It, or me?
I no longer know the way.
